Get to go behind-the-scenes for a tour of the Museum’s Architecture and Design Collection, the largest collection of architectural drawings in North America. This one hour tour will show you the climate controlled storage facility and a selection of architectural drawings, renderings, and photographs from the collection. ReCVEB Tour
The Research Center for Virtual Environments and Behavior (ReCVEB) at UCSB was founded to create a pioneering facility for the use of virtual envi- ronments in psychological research. The lab allows for experiments in fully immersive walking VR. This technology allows one to place ambulatory individuals within illusory contexts simulating physical and social environments completely controlled by researchers. The center facilitates the development of virtual-environment based research methods relevant to the scientific study of human behavior and the advancement of the capabilities and effectiveness of virtual environment technology. Theatre/Dance Behind the Scenes Tour
Walk behind the scenes of multiple theaters, stand on stage and see the audience exactly how performers would with full lights, see the workings of a scene shop, look at past and current costumes in the costume shop, and watch a short 5min performance from theater and/or dance. You must wear closed toed flat shoes for this tour.
